Beautiful Earth Day here in the Canadian Arctic!
After a rough night with the tent being battered by strong winds, which continued into the morning hours, we got a welcome reprieve from the weather. The afternoon brought clear skies and warming temps with no wind, and we made good progress along the Beta River heading toward the Arctic Ocean. The team is in good spirits and the scenery continues to amaze us all. The near 24 hours of sunlight allows us to charge our solar batteries almost round the clock, and we’ve been loving the Hughes 9202 BGAN. Hope everyone enjoyed a beautiful Earth Day today!
