Today was filled with gear and food prep as we prepare to hit the ice tomorrow! We also had the opportunity to visit the classroom of inspirational teacher Audrey Qamanirq, who invited us to meet some of her 7th and 8th grade students who are sewing traditional parkas. We’ll get Audrey’s interview posted as soon as possible. She is an amazing individual who is choosing to care and contribute to her community through teaching, mentorship, and many volunteer hours. Listen in to Matthew’s audio update for a full rundown of the day’s events!
